Most associate this date with the movies bearing the name. But it actually seems to be associated with the Knights Templars. The French King and the Pope had the Knights arrested and disbanded on October 13, 1307 which happen to be a Friday. Which I think was on purpose. No one else would notice until Monday what had happened and by then it would be already accomplished and too late for interference or protest. Just my thought.
Now on to business.
Seven more days til Hootin an Hollarin. Hope it is fair weather for it. Next Thursday is set-up day for my canopy then Friday morning is showtime. I’ll be there from 7am to 6pm Friday and Saturday so if you’re in the neighborhood of Gainesville, MO stop on by. There are lots of crafts persons to browse through. I’m sure there will be something you like there.
Still not done with the Time-Lost book. And my muse is working on a novella right now that I had on the back burner. Maybe I’ll pub that in October. I’m going to pub something. But what is seemingly up to debate with my muse.
